Hmm this is really useful. I never have time to really work out but I think keeping in shape should be a priority and I guess push ups don’t really take up much time. So I think I am going to try this program. I will report back as to how successful I was

I think I’d be trying this too, I am trying to get back on track and squeeze some simple workout into my daily routine.

I do a numerous sets of pushups every day.
Basically - pushups are about endurance and if you do the things properly you probably don’t need to do 100. However - all power to you if you think you need to. I have seen people rushing through things they call pushups by moving their torso up and down a few inches and claiming they are doing it right.
It is not so important how many you do - what is important is how well you do them.

I agree, but I think it also leads to challenging yourself. Anyone can perform a good set of pushups and as you said form is the key element here. But when you add a number yo it, like a hundred in this situation it is not about the quantity, it is more about pushing yourself to exceed your expectations, which could be 20 pushups or 40 or even 200.

Are there no girls in the debate about push ups? Guess they are building their brain muscles somewhere while we keep talking push ups here. Just kidding!
I do no push ups. Don’t have the physical strength to do them, I guess. :):):)

On second thought, it’s indeed a good idea to be able to do so many push ups, it’s good for one to feel nice about oneself. It can do a lot to boost self esteem together with strength and endurance, of course.
